Absolutely love the quality of this camera and I have the solar panel to keep it charged. It stays charged and always connected. The quality of the recorded videos is amazing. This little camera does a fantastic job and was very easy to setup and install. I would suggest that you charge the battery before you're ready to install the camera so it's fully charged and ready to go. Installation couldn't not be more simpler, it took all of ten minutes. It does require a little tweaking to get the motion sensors adjusted to suit your needs, if not you might get a lot of push notifications of ghost people and vehicles. The app seems to work well and does a good job controlling the camera. Recording and playback is very simple, however you might need to adjust auto recording times to meet your needs. all in all...nice system. The delay in getting the notification that there is movementWell, this is very annoying and frustrating. Reolink doesn't tell you in their description that the camera times out or Live view times out every twenty minutes. You have to manually turn the live view back on every twenty minutes unless there was a detection. Even using the NVR will not change this. I understand why this is done, to preserve battery life even if it is on a solar panel. I plug my cameras directly into an outlet, I don't like the time out feature. I have asked Reolink to update their app to shut this off. Its a great camera or potential to be a better home or business security camera. There is always a catch when buying.... Buyer beware.Nice quality camera.Easy to setup (within 3 minutes)Connect wifi easy with strong signal(long range)Great app for security cameras(motion detection sensitive)Wild angle, highly quality pictures and videos. So these battery operated cameras don't work with Reolink's NVR so make sure you're keeping that in mind when you're choosing which camera you're gonna buy. That said I do use Reolinks NVR and I still got this camera because it has its purpose. They've come a good distance in terms of making these cameras easy to set up with the Reolink app and I appreciate that especially if I'm gonna suggest this for someone who possibly isn't very tech savvy. I've had no problem with the set ups and don't feel they're super complicated. The camera self has really good night vision the image is clear it's sharp and the trade-off with it not having NVR access is just how long the battery life on these cameras are in not high traffic locations. I pulled the solar panel off the camera and the battery kept the camera operating in a low traffic area for several weeks recording any motion at saw. This is great if you have an issue where the solar panel dies which has happened to me before with one of these cameras I had time once I noticed it to eventually get the camera down charge it via a wall outlet and was able to put it back up while I waited for a replacement panel to be sent to me.The one annoyance I have with controlling this camera is the horizontal motion is fairly smooth you will notice lag depending on your signal strength to the camera which can make you over shoot sometimes but where the real repeated frustration comes in is the vertical movement the slightest adjustment on the app will send this thing roaring off in that direction which almost always means you over shoot what you're trying to look at and have to go back and hope that you got your tap in the other direction this time so light that the camera wall only go half its possible rotation. Really if they somehow smooth that out so that you could use the control function more reliably this thing would be the great choice in scenarios where you can't why are the camera and don't need 24/7 NVR recording. This doesn't come with a solar panel so note that the Reolink models use a 6V panel which means the usual 5V panels will charge but will require better light conditions, & take longer. For more reliability get yourself the Reolink panel unless you're using this in a situation where you can keep it plugged in all the time as I am where I have this for monitoring my 3D printing, & laser etching stations remotely.I really love this camera, it is my favorite of all that I've tried. It's one of the few that will work on my 5G WIFI which was why I got it in the first place. It was one of the easiest to set up and install too. I like the app lay out and all the settings and functions. Everything seems top quality, including the camera itself. Love that it's able to be turned and adjusted remotely. Picture and sound quality is impressive. I can't say anything but positives. There is a free plan for some cloud storage but otherwise, if you don't have an SD card there are different paid options. The only downside is the battery life. All my other cameras last at least a month or more on one full charge. This barely lasted a couple of weeks and it didn't alert me that it was getting low or even when it died. At least it doesn't take long to charge like the others. I would still recommend this even with the battery life because of the quality and how well it does everything else.
