After havin' a full size gas powered fantastic STIHL chainsaw in our mountain home for many years, we didn't expect much from this mini chainsaw for use in our suburban home garden, but WOW were we surprised . . . the two batteries last a LONG time, and even after a couple of days of use (sawing through branches even up to 6 inches in diameter), the chain is still sharp. We lubricate the chain often with silicone liquid lubricant (we don't know if that's a "recommended" lubricant for this tool, but, for us, it works GREAT, with zero buildup of debris that regular oil lubricants might accumulate), and we adjust the chain tension every so often to keep the appropriate tension, so yeah, HIGHLY impressed . . . FWIW . . .This thing is awesome. Not only have I trimmed tree branches but I also cut down an actual tree. Mind you this was a skinnier trunk of a tree but it powered through it like a beast. I actually thought it would be challenging to use since I am senior citizen with limited mobility, but I was happily surprised. It's lightweight, safe, and easy to use. Each battery has a good long life!I wish I had this years ago. It makes trimming branches easy, and cutting them into smaller pieces for kindling easier. It has taken the place of my hand saw and saves me lots of extra work. Nice to use on things that are too big for the handsaw and not big enough to use the full size chainsaw.When I first opened the box, I thought how small & wished I got 6 in one instead. After using it, I found it worked like a charm. For cutting small branches & thinning out dead limbs, this is worth it. I have noticed that after a branch has been cut, you can get some kick back, especially on the smaller branches when cutting them down to size. Mine came already assembled, batteries charged faster than the two hours recommended. After the initial use I did have to retighten the chain, which was easy to do. I did use & recommend placing oil where the chain meets the bar. The instructions are written in a funny way, but understandable. I would definitely recommend this for small work & it is lightweight. Don't let the size fool you. Be safe as it is a small chain saw & could hurt you if not paying attention.
