I installed a 50 watt White LED bulb in the pool an it throws an Awesome Blue Glow from a different company here on Amazon. I love it so I ordered a smaller 15 watt White LAMPAOUS for the spa. Of course I changed both Gaskets and put a bit of silicone lube for an airtight seal, I also had a pool company starts with an " L " electrician switch out the old controller relay for one I found here on Amazon for $14.00 that works great. I recommend using a pool company electrician because after having 1 electrician come over & contacting 7 more they really had no clue why both the pool & spa new LED's were strobing-flashing. Turned out- It was the old X10- relay controller. I mention this because there was very little information online & even YouTube to identify a reason & fix the lurking problem. The Pool company electrician was excellent & honest he knew it was the controller because it had a dim feature so if you get strobing get a new on/off relay controller, make sure it works with LED's. No need to spend hundreds they want to sell you for a fancy controller. I'm not into the color changing LED's I only like Blue & these White LED lights are brighter & as a bonus they throw that blue glow perfectly. Buy ItLites our florida pool and spa with gobs of beautiful true white light! However, first lite failed immediately, hope replacement lasts longer, quality issue with LEDS?I wanted to replace my 150 watt halogen bulb that was eating up electricity and a yellow color with a energy efficient LED bulb. This bulb was a great choice, a fraction of the watts of my halogen and the light is super bright white light. makes my pool look great at night.After ~24 mos light is dim and about to go out. Very bright while it lasted but doesn't seem to last past 2 years.Initially, I was very pleased with this product. However, after 18 months (and infrequent use), here comes the dimming and flickering that is a sign of the LED power supplies giving out.Loved the light but Just lasted 1 month , not good quality.Update March 2019:Amazingly, after viewing my review , Seller contacted me to offer a new light or refund. Excellent seller. ThanksInstalled with retile and plaster of our pool. Between the pool and spa light replacement we went from 600 watts to 60 for both lights. The look of this spa light is a beautiful white to pale blue and only 15 watts!. Hope the light lasts as long as the original. (20 years). Very satisfied but only a few days so we'll see how it goes..Last of this light bulb last for 3 years. It’s look cheap quality but defiantly last 3 years.Started bright but after 12 months began to dim down, now 20 months later it is almost dead, only a few of the LEDs turn on and you can barely see it at night. $ 69.00 is a high price to pay for a bulb giving you only 20 months of service.
