It isn’t described very well what you get, but it’s actually two pairs of rails (that’s four in total), a bunch of standard 3U blanks to fill the bottom panel, and a pair of side cheeks made out of the same PCB material. Slide nuts and screws. The cheeks are drilled to keep the rails back to back which results in only 44mm of depth available, but you could just leave the bottom panels off where you need the space and get another 15mm. The cheeks can be redrilled easily to widen that if you do want the bottom installed for shielding (the blanks do have a ground plane across on both sides) or keeping dust etc out, but you run out of space soon if you want the mounting screws to not hit the floor. The cheeks are just raw PCB feet on the ground, this was easy to manufacture but pretty scratchy feet. I suppose this is where they get “eco” as a spin name. But if you’re handy you can just replace these cheeks with some wood ones you cut and drill to your hearts content, and if you add support dowels or lattice etc you can make two of these for the price of one with better look and stability etc just using a pair of rails for each. The rails would cost more than this bought separately I believe. So a nice bargain for the modular craftsman.
